Coolrite has been shortlisted in the 2019 Green Awards. The Green Awards are a long-standing benchmark of excellence for those demonstrating best green practice in Ireland. The shortlisting is in category “The Green Product Award”.
The winners will be announced on Tuesday, February 26th at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin. The awards celebrate industry excellence and are attended by influential figures and leading organizations in the green sector. Past green award winners include: AIB, Intel Ireland, ESB, Bank of Ireland, Deloitte, Microsoft, Airtricity, Pfizer and many more leading companies.
The awards are internationally recognized as fair and objective because of the independent nature of the judging process. A distinguished panel of Judges are drawn from state, academic and private sectors to co-ordinate the judging. In addition, a highly respected International panel also judge the entries. The focus is to deliver a balanced judging assessment from industry leaders who bring their extensive knowledge, enthusiasm and expertise to the judging process ensuring that the winning entries are truly outstanding and worthy of receiving a Green Award. The Judges are bound by a strict confidentiality agreement and are required to declare any conflict of interest in entries over which they deliberate, in which case that entry will be reallocated. The integrity of this process lies at the very heart of the green awards.
Coolrite’s nomination is based on the revolutionary “Garmo plug-in hydrocarbon multideck” by JBG. The highly efficient Garmo multideck fridges uses the natural hydrocarbon refrigerant R600a and yields significant reduction in energy usage compared to conventional HFC multidecks.
